Comedy about the proverbial genie who comes out of a bottle (a table lamp in this instance) to serve his new master. The only problem is that instead of helping his master, the genie (Burl Ives) tends to get his master (Tony Randall) into more predicaments than he gets him out of.。皇后王蕴慈被人谋害葬身火海，后因一块上古玉佩重生，且有了新的身份——端王妃江锦璃。生辰变忌日，小叔变夫君，在误以为端王爷为谋反而害死自己，决意复仇之际又屡屡感受到“端王爷”对自己的关心和守护，于是看似两个各怀心事的人从互相利用到付出真心，完成各自夙愿的同时收获爱情。。
