本片改编自同志题材小说《My Policeman》，哈卷将扮演男主角Tom，与女主角结婚之后发现自己的真爱却是博物馆策展人Patrick，讲述了上世纪英国布兰顿小镇上一对同性爱人与同妻之间的情感纠葛，情感之间就像无尽的漩涡一样，让人不知所措。。“Pae”是一位严格的泰国僧人，他的妹妹“Aom”联系他说她要结婚了，希望Luang Phi Pae能来日本参加她的婚礼。Luang Phi Pae和他的随从们一起前往日本。当他们到达日本时，一位名叫“Chin”的日本僧人来接Luang Phi Pae，在前往妹妹住处的途中，他们遇到了一群黑帮分子。之后，Luang Phi Pae得知Chin就是要和他妹妹结婚的人，并且了解到Chin曾经是黑帮成员。Luang Phi Pae认为Chin一定是欺骗了他的妹妹。Chin试图解释他已经不再参与黑帮活动，但Luang Phi Pae仍然不相信他，并试图用各种方法阻止Chin与Aom结婚。因此，Chin需要证明并展示他对Aom的真诚。。Known as America's Poet, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow leads an idyllic life...until the day his world is shattered by tragedy.
