The Boy In The Dress is the story of Dennis, a 12 year-old boy who lives in an ordinary house, in an ordinary street, in an ordinary town, but he feels different. Dennis wants to escape to some sort of magical world, and discovers it in the most unexpected pla...。20年代，洞庭湖区有一个叫梅春的农村妇女。她淳朴勤劳、善良贤慧，对丈夫陈德隆的打骂折磨，一向逆来顺受。当她丈夫在赌场上把她当成"一盆洗脚水"泼掉时，她再也无法忍受下去，在丈夫和老黄瓜的追逐下，毅然跳进了湖里。幸亏被乡亲们搭救，免于一死。1926年夏天，大革命的洪流涌到了湖南偏僻的滨湖农村，梅春也小心翼翼地迈出了家门，上了夜校，并在前来搞农运的一位革命青年黄立秋的启迪下逐渐觉醒，产生了对新生活的向往。后来她终于勇敢地冲破封建樊笼，与原来"坟墓式"的家庭决裂……。
