克林特·伊斯特伍德在片中饰演一位现代的猎人，专门追捕警方悬赏缉捕的歹徒。这一次他的盯梢物件是个性懦弱的新纳粹主义分子，不料歹待的同伙竟然把他的小婴儿绑架了去，导致婴儿的母亲急如热锅上的蚂蚁。于是他反过来帮忙歹徒的妻子救回她的孩子，而片名所指的粉红色凯迪拉克轿车就是故事中主要的道具。导演不强调暴力动作场面，反而将本片拍了出了一点喜剧味道，主角的搭档也颇有新鲜感。。本剧改编自同名漫画，讲述了殡仪馆员工神崎一被比其小8岁的青梅竹马希堂琴音仰慕着，但她竟然制造了史上最严重的恐怖事件。一在调查琴音的过程中被某人杀害，回到了过去，并在过去坦白了自己的心意，和琴音成为恋人并同居，为了阻止她发生那个事件而四处奔走…。Five carpoolers travel in a motorhome to reach a common destination.
