３人の美人捜査官の活躍を描くポリスアクション・アニメの人気OVA作品。物語の舞台は未来都市。TOKYO CITY POLICE DEPERTMENT（通称・CP）の捜査官のマキ、レイミ、ユカの３人は頻発する少女誘拐事件の捜査に乗り出すことになった。そして囮捜査で事件解決を狙うが……。監督・演出に『劇場版サイレントメビウス２』『おねがい☆ティーチャー』を手がけた井出安軌、制作を『天地無用シリーズ』のAICが担当。本作は人気シリーズの原点となった作品で、続編となる『BURN-UP W バーンナップダブル』に引き継がれた。。A reclusive scientist builds a robot that looks exactly like him to go on a long-term space mission. Since the scientist seems to lack all emotions, he is unable to program them into his automaton, and an eccentric woman is hired to "educate" the robot on human behavior. In the end, she falls in love... but is the robot or the Dr. Mr. Right?。
