富家女君儿(蔡卓妍饰)身患重症，因家中缺乏温暖令她放弃了治疗，并决定由小段（陈奕迅饰）筹备她自己的丧礼。小段尝试鼓励君儿珍惜生命，但君儿仍坚持在他陪同下前往美国寻找适合的墓地。
相处的时间中，小段生活处处照顾君儿，令君儿感动因而产生了感情，并答应小段好好治病。
可是小段对她若即若离，令她深感疑惑，在她用情越来越深的时候，小段突然消失了。
最后君儿也终于发现，小段对她若即若离的原因。。This story is based where the skateboard culture is the most foreign, the Midwest. Derrick Cabrera, like all skaters, has a dream of being sponsored and one day going pro. He is an up and coming skater with all the talent but has the world against him.
