小学生欧阳吉明的脑袋里充满着各种各样的“为什么”，这些“为什么”不是书本上的问答题，也不是百科全书上面的知识题，而是发生在小明身边的所见所闻。越来越多的“为什么”困扰着小明，他是否能够通过自己的解题方式寻找到答案呢？。The story is set in the 1930s, somewhere in the mountains in Romania. It centres on Simion, a ranger who lives like a hermit in the middle of the forest. One day, he stumbles upon a beaten-up woman, Irina, and tries to find out who has hurt her. He also tries to stay away from her but fails.。
