刀尖向前！周翡的刀是父母精髓造就：母亲是刀身，刀鞘是父亲。
早年间，小周翡的外公李徵为救段九娘身中剧毒。伪帝突袭，四十八寨失守。周翡的妈妈李瑾容——那时少女，刚烈莽撞，刀法未成。失家丧父的她千里策马，找梁绍的谋士周以棠求援。梁绍不允，周以棠暧昧，李瑾容怒而独自北上，决意刺杀伪帝。
周以棠不忍见她赴死，不惜违背梁绍、自废武功，发兵救寨。李瑾容不解周以棠的韬晦，行刺失败后仍执意犯险，导致“情疯子”段大郎身死、周以棠险被误杀，她与段九娘也被伪帝双双虏获。
