Thomas and Thomas are going through a rough patch: they are both thirty-something actors living in Paris. They randomly decide to leave the city and fly away to Kullorsuaq, one of the most remote villages of Greenland, where Thomas' father Nathan lives. Among the Inuit community, they will discover the charms of the local customs and their friendship will be challenged.。SMAP的香取慎吾將主演富士招牌時段月九(週一晚上9點)的連續劇「西遊記」，在戲中扮演家喻戶曉的人物－孫悟空，這也是香取慎吾繼2002年的「超級奶爸」後，相隔4年再度主演月九日劇。「西遊記」是中國經典名著，在日本同樣廣受歡迎，多次被翻拍為日劇，本木雅弘、唐澤壽明等人都曾飾演孫悟空。而這次新的西遊記是睽違12年之久，也是21世紀以來的第一部西遊記日劇，預定在明年1月起播出，其他主要角色則尚未確定，其中唐三藏的角色倍受注目，因為之前多次請來女星出演，例如宮澤理惠、牧瀨里穗等人。。
