李英珠（朴贞熙 饰）从小就失去了父亲，一直以来和母亲过着相依为命的生活，英珠养成了坚强乐观的性格。一天，学校里来了一位名叫姜宇赫（柳镇 饰）的转学生，乍看上去有些不好接近的他其实拥有一颗炙热的心灵。一来二去之间，宇赫渐渐对大大咧咧的英珠产生了好感。
