一对即将离婚的中年夫妻，在儿子的请求下，开车去看望得了白内障的姥姥，一路上，夫妻两人背道而驰又心照不宣，在经历了看似平凡的人和事后，最终破镜重圆。。莽林山间，伴着鸟儿的鸣叫，丛林的尽头走来一对年龄相差悬殊的人儿。走在前面的女孩（全孝静 饰）天真无邪，心无旁骛，身后的老者（宋康昊 饰）白发飘逸，宛若仙人，但是接连不止的咳嗽昭示着他那令人堪忧的健康状况。他们似乎是一对师徒，惯常躲在大山深处练习清唱（潘索里，Pansori）。许是鲜少在众人面前演出的机会，女孩在新近的比赛中失利。她钉在树林中央，嘤嘤落泪，任凭身边人来人往，慈父一般的师傅只能好言相劝，如同哄着尚未更事的爱女。小小的波澜过后，他们的足迹终于来至瀑布悬崖边，伴随苍凉的鼓点，女孩的歌声穿透天际……
