1978年，我国实行改革开放,以邝铭筹、洪雨桥、周定北等为代表的科技工作者，他们顺应改革开放潮流进行艰苦创业，同中关村的成长一起，不断尝试、失败，不断创新、改革，他们终于迎来创业的逐渐成功。邝铭筹、周定北、江城等人的事业迎来蓬勃发展期，项目得以接续并如火如荼展开。而洪雨桥也因郝兵导师组装电脑的事件看到了巨大商机，同郝兵一起组成事业搭档，成立了公司。至此，各种形式的公司如雨后春笋般在白颐路上出现，创业者们在一间间窄小阴暗的陋室中开始了筚路蓝缕的创业之路。Herzog takes a film crew to the island of Guadeloupe when he hears that the volcano on the island is going to erupt.
