In 1974, the Portuguese and their descendants fled Angola where nationalist groups gradually claimed their territory back. A tribal girl discovers love and death when her path crosses that of a Portuguese soldier. Then, a Portuguese squad is barracked inside a wall from which they will have to escape once the past comes out of the grave to claim its long-awaited justice.。東北の片隅で拝み屋を営んでいる郷内心瞳。献身的な妻・真弓と暮らす郷内の前に、少女・桐島加奈江が再び現れる。さらに、霊能者・小橋美琴から相談を持ち込まれ・・・。。由中国残疾人联合会等单位联合摄制的2008年残奥会献礼片。该片讲述残疾人艺术团团长方颂扬在巡演中发现了极具艺术天赋的盲女月明，便邀请月明参加艺术团的演出，面对这个不可多得的盲人钢琴人材，爱才心切的方颂扬想帮助月明找到合适的工作，可对于一个残疾人来说，要想找一份稳定的工作非常艰难。影片取材于浙江省残疾人艺术团成员陈敏敏的真实故事。
除了女主角姚星彤外，《绽放》里的演员大多是本色出演的残疾人。所以影片创下了一个纪录，该片是国内起用残疾人演员数最多的一部电影。。
