短期大学（即我国的大学专科）学生伊藤深惠身边围绕着4个可爱的小学女生：妹妹伊藤千佳老实，每天都被邻居也是同学——美羽的搞怪弄的苦笑不得。她们的同学还有胆小单纯的茉莉，内心完全日化的外国女孩安娜。5人一起的生活总是开心事不断。

The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
